Philpotts & Associates is now a multifaceted firm that designs residences, hotels and offices alike. One recent sideline is the creation of furniture, fabrics, carpets, architectural elements and accessories—all of which can be found at Place, her design atelier in Honolulu. “Some clients are now from the third generation and being serviced by our second generation—my children and protégés,” she says proudly.
