Landmarks Worth Visiting at Open House New York

by David Stewart

Every October, the nonprofit Open House New York hands over the keys to the city, organizing a weekend of events that give the public access to nearly 200 sites—many of which are usually off-limits—and invite people to engage with architects and designers at lectures and tours of these spaces. While some tours require advance tickets, the majority are open access and free of charge, so get planning. Here, we round up 14 of the most architecturally significant landmarks to visit during OHNY this weekend (October 17–18)—no tickets needed.
